This month, we are highlighting team member Allie Gerstel, a Customer Success Consultant. We spoke with Allie about her background, her passions, and why she’s proud to be a member of the Attivo team.
Allie, tell us a bit about your background.
Allie: My name is Alexandra but my friends call me Allie. My parents raised my three older sisters and me in a small town in Pennsylvania called Greensburg. My mom was born in Italy and moved to the United States when she was only a toddler and barely had the opportunity to discover her natural roots. Growing up I always loved learning new things and found fascination in the capacity for people to continuously improve themselves and others. This has motivated me to study business and foreign languages. In May (2021) I graduated from Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Science in International Business. My mission as a Customer Success consultant at Attivo allows me the opportunity to apply leadership and strategy in order to proactively seek solutions to help the customer discover their maximum potential.
Why Attivo?
Allie: I completed a SAP Business One program at Saint Vincent College. I’ve also had experience in Information Technology, Strategic Sourcing, and Sales Excellence, but wanted to pursue a career that encompassed a combination of business functions. I knew about Attivo from the SAP Business One program and decided to apply. I earned a Pre Sales Internship with Attivo that evolved into a full-time position that actually incorporated cross-functional consultant opportunities. The software industry has transformed from a single transactional in-house solution to a subscription-based software as a service. The Customer Success role requires cross-functional knowledge and the ability to solve problems and strategize for the benefit of the customer.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Allie: Problem-solving and leadership are a few skills that I value and get excited about. Whether it be helping navigate friends and family through a foreign city, helping rally my teammates on the softball field, or strategizing to help customers seek solutions to their business needs, I welcome the challenge.

Allie: I like to hike, box and kayak.
I have a small but mighty Jack-Russel + Chihuahua mix named Chico!
