The Attivo Group Will Host a Seminar on Inventory Control For BDO Members

The Attivo Group will be hosting an inventory control seminar for CPAs and Accountants on August 22nd at the BDO Seidman Orange County office in Costa Mesa, CA. The seminar will run from 8:30-10:00 and is designed to help CPAs catch the warning signs of an inefficient warehouse that is causing their clients to lose money.

IRVINE, CALIF.--- The Attivo Group will be hosting an inventory control seminar for CPAs and Accountants on August 22nd at the BDO Seidman Orange County office in Costa Mesa, CA. The seminar will run from 8:30-10:00 and is designed to help CPAs catch the warning signs of an inefficient warehouse that is causing their clients to lose money.

Len Reo, founder and General Manager of The Attivo Group will be speaking about the three objectives of Inventory Optimization, how a company can make better inventory investment buying decisions and the importance of minimizing inventory investment.

Over the course of his 3 decades in the industry, Reo has consulted hundreds of manufacturers and distributors on lean initiatives that have improved efficiency and profitability. The purpose of this seminar is to focus on one specific area of an organization that is typically overlooked and uses antiquated techniques that aren’t up to par with other business software systems.

“I have been involved in warehouse management and inventory control for over 30 years and it never ceases to amaze me how companies are still using decades old technology to manage their inventory when everything else in their business has evolved with the times,” said Reo. “There is no place for physical inventory counts and spreadsheets in a modern manufacturing or distribution organization when there are so many better options out there that offer great ROI, improved cash flow and reduced data entry.”

This seminar will be geared specifically towards CPAs, and will not only show them how to spot warning signs for their clients, but will also arm them with the knowledge to suggest possible solutions as well. A complimentary breakfast will be provided by BDO Seidman, however there is limited seating for the event.

The event is open to both BDO and non BDO members alike; however, BDO members will get preferred registration for the event.
