The Exact Warehouse Management System (WMS) allows you to control and track the movement and storage of materials through your warehouse, using advanced bar code data collection technologies. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with the Exact Progression and Macola ES product lines.
The Device Manager Module provides global functionality for each of the WMS modules. It provides its own security system to ensure that only authorized warehouse personnel can use the software and supports both attached PCs and a variety of radio frequency handheld data collection devices.
With the Receiving & Inventory Data Collection and Labeling Module, products and materials are scanned, verified and immediately processed as they are brought into the warehouse. The system can be configured to automatically produce product labels for items that are not pre-labeled. Labels can be generated for the individual selling unit, inner packs, cartons and pallets, all without user intervention. Inventory management capability supports:
- Bin control and bin transfers
- Warehouse transfers
- Lot control
- Physical inventory and Cycle Counting
- Stock Inquiry
- Miscellaneous issues and receipts
The Pick and Ship Verification Module gives you the tools you need to manage the process from a single screen. Did you ever wish you could avoid printing paper-based picking tickets? Would you like to combine orders into bulk, wave or zone picks? Now you can! The Pick and Ship Verification Module provides:
- Full electronic picking, replacing traditional paper pick tickets with an electronic form.
- From one screen, review which orders are available for release.
- Decide which orders to combine and which are to be picked individually.
- Select order picking priority
- Assign individual pickers to orders
- Automatically generate customer-specific shipping labels, each with a unique license plate for complete traceability.
- Track each pallet that you ship with a unique license plate, and for Bill of Lading purposes
- Trading partner required UCC-128 labels are generated for the pallet and/or the cartons if needed.
- Generate Bills of Lading, including the VICs standard bill
- Orders that shipped are automatically selected for billing. The need for manual billing selection is eliminated.
The EDI ASN Data Collection Module provides for the capture of the data necessary to be compliant with your customer’s requirements. All UCC-128 numbers are recorded with the correct quantities of products within cartons and/or pallets. Bill of Lading, Pro and Trailer numbers and shipment weights are also captured within the module. Seamless integration with the Exact Progression and Macola ES EDI module allows for data integrity and productive flow of ASN creation.
The POP Data Collection & Labeling Module and SFC Data Collection & Labeling Module are new additions to the WMS suite. Utilizing RF technology, these modules offer flexibility by enabling the reporting of transactions to be processed on a hand held device – all in real time. These modules fully support the process of recording activity transactions, material issues & returns, product label creation, and production reporting.
